"It's Kind of a Funny Story"

This URL gives a description of the book that i chose which i believe has a similar meaning with my truth. The book talks about a teenager and his experiences in his life. Many times throughout his teenage life which we learn about, he doubts himself many times yet in the end he regrets his doubts. At the very end, he finally doesn’t let doubt stand in his way, and he gets to be with a girl that he likes. This book is an example of my truth because this teenage boy makes many mistakes due to doubt which he regrets until he finally made the right one.

Another blog with a truth like mine

I like this blog because he describes different types of situations where you can doubt yourself. instead of saying something like give up or do whatever you want, he tells them to fight back and to not doubt themselves.

This is a video that i found on youtube . It talks about how you should believe in yourself, but how others believe in you too. They sing about how you should follow your heart, and let it lead it to where you truly want to go. the video shows a transformation of the little lions to the older ones, but how as they grew up, they never lost faith, never stopped believing, and never doubted themselves.

This was a painting that I made. The man inside the question mark is living in doubt while opportunities around him are escaping. The tear things on the bottom represent opportunities that were lost because he spent his time in doubt. The arrows going up represent opportunities that he could have if he stops living in doubt, and believes in himself.

My poem

The young man was filled with doubt

Until he came to this blog and ot sorted out

He never believed that he was true

And changed his answers although he had a clue

His grade had suffered as had his mind

But now he is wise and believes in his mind.

This movie from what I’m interpreting it as is a movie about a priest who is doing supposedly doing things that he shouldn’t be doing. A nun catches him yet she has no truth. The only thing that she can accuse him of is her knowing that she doesn’t doubt herself. she believes that what he is doing is wrong and has no doubt that she is. This movie shows how this nun doesn’t have proof but yet she doesn’t doubt herself.

1. Have you ever doubted yourself?

-Yes.

2. When have you doubted yourself?

- When i take my science tests.

3. Do you regret doubting ourself?

- Yes, because I didn’t believe in myself, and i would get answers wrong that i knew were right.

4. When was the last time you doubted yourself?

-On my last science test, i doubted myself a few times but not as much so i got more answers correct.

5. Would you change any decisions you made when you doubted yourself?

-Yes, because I would have gone with what I thought was true at first and then my answer would of been right.

6. Why do you doubt yourself?

- Because I am not confident in my answer or choice that I made or decided on.

I found this picture on someone else’s blog, and i really liked it. Although I like how it looks and all, i like the meaning of the the phrase. you can spend a long time doubting and hesitating, but you can’t do it forever. Eventually, it will be your time to die, and if you doubted and hesitated your entire life, you wouldn’t be able to have lived it the way your really wanted to. express yourself, and do what you want.
